Started in 2007 by Ronelle Pagel, The Plumbing Lady brings a fresh approach to home maintenance services in Tshwane. From our beginnings as a one-woman plumbing service, we’ve grown into a team of nine skilled professionals, bringing expert care to homes and businesses across our community.
Our success comes from a simple commitment: delivering professional service with genuine care. Today, we offer comprehensive plumbing, electrical, and gas solutions, while creating opportunities for women in the trades. Each member of our team brings both technical excellence and thoughtful attention to every job.
As we grow through franchising, we’re excited to extend our vision of quality, reliable, and affordable home maintenance services across South Africa. We’re creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to join our brand while maintaining the high standards and caring approach that make The Plumbing Lady special.
2003
The Plumbing Lady opens its doors, bringing a fresh approach to plumbing services in Tshwane.
2009
A major milestone as we purchase our first Bantam bakkie. Our service quality helps us grow to over 500 loyal customers, primarily through word-of-mouth recommendations.
2014
Investing in the future with new equipment and a VW Caddy, enhancing our ability to serve customers efficiently and professionally.
2016
Expanding our team to three full plumbing crews, with women professionals making up two of our six qualified plumbers – a proud step toward empowerment in the industry.
2018
Responding to customer needs, we launch The Gas Lady with licensed gas installers, broadening our expertise to serve more home maintenance requirements.
2019
Further growth brings more qualified professionals to our team. Our plumbing services expand rapidly as we add more licensed experts, both men and women.
2020
Despite challenging times of COVID, we launch The Electric Lady, bringing a qualified and licensed female electrician to our team. This completes our home maintenance service trio, offering comprehensive solutions for our customers.
